Bird Programs at Jesse Jones Park

Birders of all experience levels are welcome to join other birding enthusiasts Saturday, February 4, at 8:30 a.m. for Breakfast with the Birds, a guided bird walk through many of the park’s beautiful walking trails.

 

Then Sunday, February 5, at 2 p.m. residents interested in attracting beautiful wild birds to their property can attend Attracting Birds to Your Yard.A JonesPark staff member will discuss the many ways homeowners can attract wild birds, which includes providing food, water, shelter and places to raise young.

Both programs are for participants ages 12 and up. Reservations are required, and can be made by calling (281) 446-8588. 


Jesse H. Jones Park & Nature Center, a Harris County Precinct 4 facility under the leadership of Commissioner Jerry Eversole, is located at 20634 Kenswick Drive in Humble.

All programs are free of charge and open to the public. Harris County Precinct 4 programs serve people of all ages regardless of socioeconomic level, race, sex, religion, national origin or physical ability.
