Commemorate National Hispanic Heritage Month with a fiesta at May Community Center Friday, September 4 at 11 a.m. This designated month provides an opportunity to acknowledge and express appreciation to Latinos for their contributions to this country, and to pay tribute for their role in America’s diversity. National Hispanic Heritage Month begins September 15 each year and covers a wide number of independence celebrations for Latin American countries, including Fiestas Patrias (Chile).

Advance registration for the catered Mexican luncheon is required by Monday, August 31 since space is limited to the first 150 people to sign up. A $7 suggested donation, payable in advance, helps defray the cost of the entertainment and food.
