May Community Center's free intergenerational programs are part of Harris County Precinct 4 Commissioner Jerry Eversole's educational and recreational commitment to Harris County residents. May Community Center is a Precinct 4 community center located at 2100 Wolf Road, Huffman 77336. Harris County Precinct 4’s Senior Adult Program (SAP) announces two new ongoing programs for adults (ages 50 and better,) at the B. F. Clark Community Building at Southwell Park, 27419 Nelson Road, Spring 77373.

Join the body toning and chair exercise classes on Monday and Wednesdays from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. beginning July 6. This exercise class increases strength, balance, coordination, and flexibility. Participants should wear lightweight clothing, and plan to bring a towel and a water bottle. If you have concerns or have a serious medical condition, please check with your physician before attending the class.


Kingwood, TX: Whether torrential thunderstorms or sweltering heat, the Fourth of July is always a day to celebrate in Kingwood. 

This year, residents will have a difficult time choosing between three Saturday evening festivities: the fireworks at the Town Center Park Festival, Alspaughs Street Dance, and the 2nd Annual Independence Day Concert at Kings Harbor.


Learn how to become a "southern belle" during charm and etiquette classes at May Community Center Wednesdays, June 10 and 17 from 10 a.m. to noon. A volunteer offers instruction on dining etiquette, introductions, good manners, and even proper body language.The saying goes, "pretty is as pretty does," and nothing conveys how pretty a young lady is like etiquette, social grace, and proper table manners.


Make new friends and have fun with the old at one of the Kingwood and Humble area Vacation Bible Schools.

From crocodile adventsures tow Power Labs, the activity filled programs will keep the summer doldrums at bay.

Many exciting events are planned for April and May 2009 at R. B. Tullis Branch Library, 21569 Hwy 59, New Caney, Texas. In addition to our regular weekly and monthly events, several special events are planned for adults, children, young adults, and their families.


As Easter approaches, area residents prepare to kick off their holiday weekend festivities at Picnic on the Park . The sixth annual celebration will be on Saturday, April 11th, from 10 am to 4 pm in Town Center Park .


Fortunately, no winter lasts forever and no spring skips its turn. Picnic on the Park events are the perfect way to celebrate the return of spring! A Ladies Luncheon & Easter Bonnet Contest will be held at the Houston Airport Marriott Wednesday, April 1, followed by the Picnic on the Park Festival on Saturday, April 11 at the Kingwood Town Center .


For the past five years, Kingwood residents have started off the New Year by making sure that their community lives up to the title of "The Livable Forest." On a crisp Saturday morning, residents from across Kingwood meet at their village parks and scour their neighborhood picking up trash and debris.
