The Humble ISD Christmas holiday break has begun.  Make the most of this special time with your children with activities around home and town. Between activities at home, around Kingwood , or in Houston, numerous options abound.  School starts back on Tuesday, January 6th, 2009, so make your activity schedule now!


Here it is November and already shops have filled with holiday items and décor!  Is it too early to plan for the holidays? No! Now is the time to start your holidays off right.  With just a little bit of organizing, your holiday will be a joyful relaxed celebration.

Our world is a small place and we all want to contribute to our global wellness. “Green organizing” is an environmentally focused organizing strategy emphasizing principles of Reduce, Reuse and Recycle. 

Most people know of a home in their neighborhood where the home is obviously overflowing with clutter.  Some homes begin not functioning and contents spills out into the yard.  Who does not know someone who is suffering from this kind of Obsessive Compulsive Disorder?  Most people have no idea where to turn to for help.

Our families are blessed with abundance and we have never seen this more than with the blessings of toys, clothes and more for our children. With summer here, it is a great time to enlist your children in decluttering your home and organizing!

Throughout our country, we are ever so blessed in our homes! Closets are filled to the brim with items that we own, more than we even know we have! The holiday season is the perfect time to take the time to share our blessings with those around us. Enlist your children in sharing their toys with those in need as well.

In the fall we start back on our regular routines of school and work.  Your car is your office on the go and your home away from home! Whether you are a professional going to work or a busy mom or dad carpooling, having an organized vehicle can make the difference in your travels.   

In our busy lives, information and paper come at us from all directions all the time! Where does all this come from?  It comes in with the mail, from school or work with our children or partner, or in a purse!  These items might require immediate action, might be dates and times to enter on our calendar, bills to pay, or addresses or service providers we may need later.  The family communication center is a space for information and paper that needs easy access and quick retrieval.
