Kingwood , TX:  The hotly contested election season is drawing to a close.  Tuesday, November 4th, is Election Day. If you haven't already taken advantage of the early voting period,November 4th is the final chance to make your voice heard.

Don't let the winter doldrums get you down, take a class or two at your local community center. The May Community center has released the winter class line up.  Beyond the art, craft, language and exercise classes that are perennial favorites, several new classes have been added including classes on Line Dancercise and Wii playtime. 

Avoid the crowds on election day cast your ballot early at one of the many early voting locations in Houston and Harris County. The Harris County Clerk estimates as many as 25 to 30 percent of registered voters will cast their vote early.

Looking for a challenging sport that is out of the ordinary?  Registration for the HAKLAX/Kingwood Youth Lacrosse program is available online at www.haklax.com. Open to boys and girls in grades 4 – 8 for games beginning in February 2009.

Money Week Houston is a public awareness campaign designed to help consumers better manage their personal finances.
