    Looking for something fun to do to put on your fall schedule?  The May Community Center in Huffman, TX, has a number of special events coming up in addition to the ongoing weekly classes.  Take a trip on the Southern Empress, learn more about the area by visiting the Museum of the Gulf Coast or the Museum of Southern History, or celebrate fall with friends with a trip to the Scarecrow Festival.

Harris County Precinct 4 programs serve people of all ages, regardless of socioeconomic level, race, color, sex, religions, national origin, or physical ability. Anyone requiring special assistance to participate in any program should contact May Community Center. An adult must accompany children under the age of 18.

  • May Park “Play Garden” Now Complete may park play garden

    Harris County Precinct 4 Commissioner Jerry Eversole is pleased to announce the completion of a “play garden” at May Park, 2100 Wolf Rd., Huffman 77336. Residents are invited to attend the ribbon cutting ceremony  Wednesday, August 19 at 9:30 a.m. to celebrate the new play features of this amenity.

    In 2008, a walking trail, an additional rest room facility, and a water spray feature were installed at May Park as part of a two-phase improvement project. The second phase of the improvement project is now complete and features a unique, futuristic play area surrounded by six pod-style stations that integrate standard and transitional playground elements including climbing rocks and statuesque animals.
