Humble ISD’s Elementary Art Department’s vision started the Fine Arts Festival thirteen years ago. With the fast growth of the event, the school district entered into a partnership with LSC-Kingwood eleven years ago.

Precinct 4 parks may one day feature descendants of oak trees that served as a sacred meeting place for Comanche and Tonkawa tribes, offered shade to Texas heroes, and witnessed the rise of the first Texas cities.

Mental health is an issue that directly or indirectly affects people from all walks of life. To draw attention to this important issue, Lone Star College-Kingwood hosted a mental health series month in April which is open to the community, faculty, staff, and students.
