Residents of Kingwood, TX, enjoy community events throughout the year.  The 4th of July is one of the most festive occasions of the year with activities throughout the weekend in Kingwood and the surrounding Humble and Atascocita areas.

July 1st

Alspaugh's Ace Hardware Street Dance

Bring the family, a cooler and some chairs and enjoy music by 8 Seconds.  BBQ donations will benefit the Village Learning and Achievement Center.

Atascocita Yacht Club Boat Parade

Enjoy the floating festivities starting at the Texas Adaptive Aquatic Sports Center near Cedar Landing.

July 2nd

"Soldiers of the American Revolution" at Jesse Jones Park

Experience a soldier's life during the American revolution in this renactment.

Concert at Strawbridge United Methodist Church

4:00 pm

Enjoy this free concert of patriotic performed by the Kingwood Community Symphonic Band and the Kingwood Big Band.

July 3rd

30th Annual Greater Humble Area Chamber of Commerce Independence Day Fireworks Display

July 4th

Kingwood Civic Club Fishing Rodeo

Kingwood Civic Club 4th of July Parade

10:00 am
Parade Route:  W Lake Houston Pkwy from Creekwood Middle School, Kingwood Drive to the Kingwood High School
Line up begins at 8:00 am at Creekwood Middle School.

Forest Cove 4th of July Parade

10:00 am
Line up begins at 9:00 am at the Forest Cove Community Center, 1025 Marina Drive, Kingwood.  A BBQ will follow the parade at the Community Center.  Tickets are $10 for adults and $4.50 for children under 10.

Kingwood Town Center 4th Festivities

Booths at Kingwood Town Center will be open from noon to 9:00 pm.  There will be something for the whole family with food, moonwalks, and craft and vendor booths.

Attendees can enjoy music by Jimmie Jam in the afternoon as well as The Pictures from Austin, Texas, after the fireworks display at 9:00 pm.
