Free H1N1 vaccinations will be offered to Humble ISD students, employees and their families by the Harris County Public Health and Environmental Services department (HCPHES). The vaccinations will be offered on Saturday, November 21st, 9 a.m.-5 p.m. HCPHES will offer the vaccinations at the three Humble ISD high school campuses within its jurisdiction: Atascocita, Humble and Summer Creek. The clinics will be open to all Humble ISD students, employees and their families. This, of course, includes those who live in the Kingwood area. Vaccinations will be available on a first come, first served basis.
Four target groups are especially encouraged to get H1N1 vaccinations. These include: nurses, staff who work with preschool children and Community Learning Center employees, staff with compromised autoimmune issues (diabetes), and staff who are pregnant. |
