AMC offers Summer Movie Camp Once Again

Reprising whas has come to be a summer time favorite, the AMC theatres are offering Kids Summer Movie Camp once again.  The Deerbrook Mall AMC theatre in Humble, TX , will be participating as well.

This year the cost of admission is $1 per person and the proceeds will be donated to The Variety Children's Charity and the Will Rogers Institute.

The Movie Camp will be offered on Wednesdays at 10 am from June 25th through August 6th.

Group tickets can be bought up to a week in advance online or at the ticket office.

Villas at Kingwood Estates Open Their Gates for Walk in the Park Music Festival

Villas at Kingwood Estates

The Villas at Kingwood Estate Homes will open its gates June 7, 2008 noon to 9 pm for the Town Center Walk in the Park Music Festival .

Work on the first four Tuscan style 3 story custom luxury villas is not quite complete but the owners wanted to join the community and  be involved with the festival.

Those event goers who purchase VIP tickets to the event will have the opportunity to not only park a short walk from Town Center but will have the option to be conveniently shuttled from the Villas to Town Center and back in The Clubs of Kingwoods unique Red 5-seater golf  carts.

Keller Williams Raises $31,000 for ALS Victim Stacie Rhea

While the rain poured down outside, emotions were flowing inside the Walden on Lake Houston Country Club on the evening of March 6 as Keller Williams Realty agents and the community came together to raise money for Stacie Rhea, a victim of the terminal disease ALS also known as Lou Gehrig’s disease.

Rhea, the daughter-in-law of Keller Williams Realty Northeast co-owner Judy Hopkins, was the guest of honor at the benefit hosted by Keller Williams which raised more than $31,000. The funds will go towards completing a renovation to Rhea’s home in Iowa, so that the 38-year-old mother of three can stay close to her family as her illness progresses.
