trout1.jpgCommissioner Jerry Eversole is pleased to announce that the Texas Parks & Wildlife Department has confirmed the trout stocking dates at Bane Park and Burroughs Park.  The lakes at Bane and Burroughs parks will each be stocked with 2,000 rainbow trout on Friday, January 16, 2009.

Additionally, anglers experience immense fishing success for two to three weeks after the trout are stocked, as the fish are not yet accustomed to the water. There is a daily bag limit of five trout per angler and no minimum length limits.
