Kingwood Texas: Although the dust has settled in the national and state elections, Humble and Kingwood area residents aren't quite done voting.
The Humble Independent School District is holding a special election to allow for a $.13 increase in the Maintenance and Operations tax rate to bring the total school tax rate to $1.52 per thousand dollars of valuation.

Kingwood , TX: The hotly contested election season is drawing to a close. Tuesday, November 4th, is Election Day.
If you haven't already taken advantage of the early voting period,November 4th is the final chance to make your voice heard.
Unlike during early voting where you could go to any polling station in your county, you must go to your designated precint to vote.
Polling stations will be open in Harris and Montgomery counties from 7:00 am to 7:00 pm.

Beyond the art, craft, language and exercise classes that are perennial favorites, several new classes have been added including classes on Line Dancercise and Wii playtime.

Avoid the crowds on election day cast your ballot early at one of the many early voting locations in Houston and Harris County.
The Harris County Clerk estimates as many as 25 to 30 percent of registered voters will cast their vote early.

grades 4 – 8 for games beginning in February 2009.

game on 2 feet it combines speed, agility and endurance and has grown in
popularity in the Houston
area over the past years.
