Stumbling today I found an article on health.com with a list of simple substitutions to cut out up to 900 calories per day . . . 900. Think about it, one pound is 2,000. You could lose 1 pound every three days without even trying by following these guidelines.

It is that time of year again, Summer! School is out, but it's too hot to stay outside. What can you do? Go to the library! All Harris County Libraries participate in the Texas Summer Reading Program. We have 3 different programs to join. One is for children to age 12, one is for teens, aged 12-18, and there is even a program for adults. This year the Summer Reading Program begins June 5 and runs through August 8. To join, go to the Harris County Public Library's website at www.hcpl.net and click on the "Summer Reading is for Everyone - 2009 Programs" link in the center of the home page. Hope to see you in the library! |

Here are a few things I hate hearing when talking to a new client about a web site design.

When you were in school, did you copy someone else’s... |
