I am a licensed midwife offering complete maternity care for women desiring home birth. My philosophy is that pregnancy is a normal physiological, family event. I believe that each woman is a partner in the care of herself and her baby, rather than a patient. Research shows that, for low risk women, home birth with a trained professional midwife is as safe as giving birth in a hospital.
