Health food?!?
Come on now Anna, who really wants to GO OUT to eat AND EAT HEALTHY???

Ok, I'm probably in the minority and it shows...but...
My "healthy" diet consists of italian, mexican and meats/barbeque.
That being said....my recommendations for Italian in Kingwood:
Amadeos. They have GREAT lasagna and its a favorite "haunt" for Kingwood's elite.

Ok, forget the second part....enjoy the food and "people watch" those elite. Everybody needs a good laugh now and then.
Mexican?
A good friend of mine really doesn't care too much for it, but I've actually had some pretty good meals at Rico's. If you like cheese (cover your ears Anna), order their QUESO FLAMEADO (basically white mexican cheese, chorizo rolled up in surprisingly good tortillas...although they are still far behind the tortilla quality of Mama Ninfas. Lots of grease, but its good going down). Their fajitas aren't too bad...but I've been getting fajita'd out lately.
Meats/barbeque?
Can we go outside of the Kingwood area? Sorry, although Papa's in Houston (several locations in town...the nearest is just north of 610 on I45) has some of the best barbeque in Houston, the best barbeque I've had so far in the area has been Tin Roof Barbeque off of 1960 in the Humble/Atascocita area. Try the "BADWICH" sandwich. Man oh man...it has every single meat that Tin Roof has and its goood!

Can you say "nappy time" when you are done eating it?
I still haven't tried Triplers or Skeeter's, so the above may change.
