Just wanted to let you guys know if you are looking for a vet perhaps you should skip GladeValley on North Park.
My husband found 2 dogs yesterday that are obviously somebodies babies. I took the time today to take some photos and thought that maybe just maybe a receptionist at one of the vets in our neighborhood would recognize them.
Regretfully, the first place I went was Glade Valley on North Park. The receptionist flat out refused to look at the photos in my hand. Said the vet didn't have time. I never expected the vet to drop what she was doing and start looking at photos. But, I did expect the receptionist to atleast look at the photos. Maybe she'd recognize them and maybe she wouldn't. But, looking would only benefit the dogs.
The other receptionist never said a word. The one that refused to look at the photo spent more time telling me why "that wasn't what they did there." than if she'd have taken a quick peek at it. She said they had a book that they took down lost and found notices in. Thats fine -- it makes sense. But then she spent alot of time asking me to describe the dogs ( I wanted to just shove the photo in her face and say "here is a really good description!"
I know when you work with the public they can get on your nerves. But, am I really the one to be rude too? I found someones dogs and I am trying to find their owners. God, I don't deserve to be treated like a big pain in the ass interupting their very busy day.
So just know if they are your vet and your baby gets out that they don't have time to even look at a photo to see if they recognize your baby. Because that's quote, "not what they do there."
