Like a lot of you, we bought a home in one of the older parts of Kingwood with the "original charm." Translated means, "Ugly old wallpaper, dated formica, and dated plumbing fixtures." So we are remodeling. We've painted, dull gray was just not our thing. And we’ve been stripping wallpaper, a lot of it. I would have chosen a house without wallpaper solely on that basis alone, but we didn’t have that option. Every house we looked at had it in at least one room, and they were all ugly patterns. But kitchen is going to be the first major project, new counters, new cabinets, new fixtures . . . the works.
Friends have recommended that I get a Delta faucet. After quite a bit of searching online, we found a site with a big selection of Delta kitchen faucets. Also, although we aren't ready to redo the bathrooms yet, we wanted to make sure that whatever faucet line we went with that we would be able to find a coordinating bathroom faucet as well. The guest bath is fairly close to the kitchen and we want it all to tie in. Luckily for us, there are quite a few Delta bathroom faucets that coordinate with the kitchen faucets as well. Right now we are trying to decide between the Leland and Waterfall lines for the kitchen faucet. I am leaning towards the Leland, I think it has a little more style to it. My wife likes the soap dispenser shown in the Waterfall below, althought I think it would be a pain to fill it all the time.
