This class will teach you how to make the GORGEOUS holiday decor bows that you would otherwise pay $$$ for to decorate ANYWHERE in your home...christmas wreaths, your christmas tree, entry way, staircase, swags, gift toppers, poinsettia plants...AFTER christmas, you'll be able to accent any gifts that you give with gorgeous bows, and any plants or vases around your home...there are MANY uses for this skill!!! The technique you will learn will allow you to make your bows EXACTLY to your design goals, so your bows will be a perfect match to your decor YEAR ROUND.
I've taught the basic HAIR BOW class to local mom's for over 6 months with great success (you can read quotes from some that have taken the class on my website: www.fifthavenuebowtique.com under basic bow class) and making these holiday bows is quite similar, and SO easy!!!!! I was doing my own holiday shopping around town and overheard conversations in SEVERAL stores of people frustrated with buying ribbon (or cheap pre-made bows-- not so elegant looking!!!!!) and attempting to make their own. These holiday bows are even easier to assemble than a basic hairbow because there are fewer steps invoved...once you know the basics, making a double, or triple layered bow to accent your christmas tree, swag, table centerpiece, etc. will only take you a few minutes.
IN THIS CLASS, you will learn to make holiday bows in the color scheme of YOUR HOME....the technique is EASY, so you'll leave with the know how to continue decorating after the class and create bows anywhere in your home that you see fit. Please see the pictures below of EXAMPLE bows that will be taught in the class. There will be NO TOOLS involved (no e-z-bow makers, or bowdabra's to confuse you).
You will be responsible for a -SMALL- supply list. With the know how to create your own bows, you will find that they are MUCH CHEAPER (and prettier) than the store bought kind!!!
