Fretted Firends, a gathering of acoustic musicians who play old-time music, meets on the fourth Friday night of each month January through October.

They meet in the on the fourth Friday night of each month, January through October.  They meet in the old fellowship hall of the Friendship United Methodist Church in Porter from 7 to 10 pm

Visitors are welcome to listen or play along with the old-time tunes.  Attendees are asked to bring a canned or packaged food donation for the church's food pantry
