Kingwood United Methodist Church prepares for the school year by collecting school supplies for the needy and by praying for students, teachers and administrators on the first day of school.

The community is invited to attend the prayer service which begins at 9 a.m. in the sanctuary on Aug. 27. Personal prayer time is immediately before the service, beginning at 8:30.
