Dutch Oven Cook-Off Friday with Live music and Dancing!

Saturday with Games, Parade, Sawmill Town, Live Entertainment and food! Our vendors will be selling American made wares! Young and old alike with enjoy visiting with Civil War soldiers and old cowboys and sherrifs from the late 1800's.

Enjoy a wide range of vittles including funnel cakes, fried twinkies, fried snickers, BBQ sandwiches, sausage on the stick, Blue Bell ice cream, frito pies, nachos, hot dogs, snow cones, candy, drinks, and more. Face Painters, Petting Zoo, Pony Rides, Wagon Rides, Stage Coach Rides and more!

Enjoy a real live mule drawn wagon shuttle from parking areas around our event, provided by Keith Kitchens and SCS General Contractors. This authentic treat is something you just don't want to miss. Bring the entire family out for a visit to our hisorical past. Learn from cowboys how life was lived.

Our Old Sawmill Town will be open for live tours. Fretted Friends will be strumming along throughout the day in the Old town for all to enjoy. Vote for your favorite building in the Old Sawmill Town area. And watch out for the sheriff! You don’t want to be caught loitering or you may end up in jail! Make sure and bring a buck to get out, just in case!

Stepping back into time has never been more fun or exciting! Join us for our second annual event as we explore the rich history of an area known and loved by so many. East Montgomery County is a place to call home and enjoy the beautiful music, tasty food, and good neighborly fun..

Our event will be held on Community Drive in New Caney, Texas, conveniently located right off of I-59. Use the 1314 exit going north on I-59 or the 1485 exit going south on I-59. Take 1314 or 1485 to 494 and you will find parking areas near and around Community Drive and 494. Free entry and parking!
