Thanksgiving is a special time to gather together in gratitude, unison, and humility. As we reflect on this great country, our individual blessings, and the sacrifices of many, this 2007 Thanksgiving and veterans tribute has special meaning.
The featured speaker is Harris County Judge Ed Emmett, who shares his thoughts on Veterans Day as we honor our military men and women.
A traditional Thanksgiving lunch, complete with all the trimmings, is underwritten in part through the generosity of Commissioner Jerry Eversole and the May Center Volunteer Advisory Council.

A $6 suggested donation helps defray the cost of the catered lunch. Please invite a friend or neighbor to enjoy this special Thanksgiving holiday gathering.

In recognition of veterans, past and present, a special Tree of Honor recognizes their contributions to this country. If you would like to acknowledge an individual who served or is serving in the military, you will have an opportunity to place a star in their honor on this special tree.

Advance registration is required (!) for an accurate count, since the lunch is catered and limited to the first 200 people to sign up. To reserve your place, please come by the Center or call (281) 324-3373.
