Sewing is simple and fun, and it’s not just for girls . . . boys are great at it and love it, too! Ever-patient instructor Anne Sparkman teaches this hands-on class to the fi rst 10 children ages eight and older who are accompanied by a parent orguardian. Sewing machines and sergers are provided by the Center.

This class, especially for children with no previous sewing experience, is the perfect introduction to the Parent/Child Sewing Class: Pillow Project scheduled for July. Each child must bring all-purpose thread (any color) and fabric scissors.

Please note: Due to safety issues and space limitations, a parent or guardian must register their child and accompany them to every class. Unfortunately,there can be no exceptions. “Sew,” fi nd your way to the Center to sign up.
