Kingwood Council Member Mike Sullivan will be hosting a
Batteries, Oil, Paint, Anti-Freeze (B.O.P.A.) & Electronic Waste (E-Waste) Neighborhood Collection Event Saturday, September 20, 2008.
Note locations of places to drop off items!
The B.O.P.A. collection will be held at the Kingwood Municipal Building located at 3915 Rustic Woods.
The E-Waste will be collected at the Kingwood Park & Ride, located at 3210 W. Lake Houston Parkway.
Collection will begin at 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM.
Bring household and car batteries, used motor oil, latex paint (no oil base paint), and anti-freeze to the Kingwood Municipal Building.
Bring their computers, monitors, keyboards; cell phones, microwaves, CPU’s, VCR’s, TV’s, etc. to the Kingwood Park & Ride.
Tires will not be accepted. And there will be no commercial collection at these locations.
Other items that will not be accepted include household, business or medical waste and, or chemicals.
No PCB’s or dioxins, ammunition, explosives, gas cylinders, smoke detectors, washer or dryers, refrigerators, freezers, air conditioners or household trash.
