This is a hard one for me, there are so many fun parks to go to in Kingwood.
My top favorites would have to be
- Elm Grove - It's shaded and the equipment is far back from the street. It has two play sections, one geared more for younger children, but there is a good variety in each.
- Mills Branch - It has four different play sections laid out in a circle around a hill in the center of the park. It has the traditional play equipment, like monkey bars, as well as newer forms, such as a rock wall. The one negative to the park is that it is along one of the main through streets of the subdivision, and although it's set back from the street, I've seen children run across the street in front of traffic to cars parked across the street. Which brings me to negative number 2, not a lot of parking.
- North Woodland Hills - It's not a really big park, but it does have two different play structures with some pretty cool play items. For examples, one of the play structures has a mini keyboard. While it has some things that big kids would enjoy, it is really geared towards little ones.
Since my girls are small, I'd have to say that North Woodland Hills is my favorite.
