New to Kingwood. This was a last minute move by my company.

Is there a checklist somewhere online for getting the kids set up in school.

The HISD website has a lot of info, but hard to navigate.

btw, any chance of some different avatars? The selections are kind of cheesy.

Welcome to Kingwood!

I see in your profile that you live in Greentree. Here is the link to the school if you're in the section that goes to Greentree Elementary

The way it worked at our school was you registered online and then set an appointment to meet with the registrar.

Then you have to pick up a packet (Greentree's pick-up starts tomorrow . . . Yikes!) and bring it back to the open house (the 24th for Greentree).

And regarding the avatars, you can upload your own picture (please keep it family friendly) if you click on the "update my picture" tab.

I just finished updating the site and I'm still working out a few bugs, but a wider selection of avatars is a great idea. That should probably be under a different topic.
