The staff at Mercer Gardens is gearing up for a beautiful summer and has a number of fun and educational programs planned.  Be sure to put on or more of these upcoming events on your summer calendar of activities.

Mental health is an issue that directly or indirectly affects people from all walks of life. To draw attention to this important issue, Lone Star College-Kingwood hosted a mental health series month in April which is open to the community, faculty, staff, and students.

Lone Star College-Kingwood’s drama students did not have to go very far to collect their awards at the annual Texas Community College Speech and Theatre Association (TCCSTA) Play Festival.

Park Cafe is proud to announce the opening launch of the restaurant on Tuesday, April 21st in Kingwood's Town Center on the North West corner of Town Center Park.  It is the place to go for an unhurried lunch or dinner with friends or business guests and to celebrate special occasions with patio dining and live music weekly.

The final days of school are quickly counting down and summer vacation is approaching.  Jesse Jones Park has announced the opening of registration for summer camp along with the May activities.  Be sure to register early as the camp fills quickly.

Getting a jump on university engineering programs is one of many topics that will be discussed at Lone Star College-Kingwood’s Engineering Information Session.  The free seminar will be held on Tuesday, April 28 from 5:30-7 p.m. in the college’s Performing Arts Center room 125.
