The weather is heating up and it's time to get those swimsuits out.  Most of the community pools have opened for weekend hours in May with full summer hours starting in June.

KidStage, Houston’s new after-school youth Drama Group, is celebrating its ONE YEAR ANNIVERSARY and is offering up a FUN SUMMER SCHEDULE with drama classes and theatre opportunities for kids of all ages.  The KidStage mission is to bring the experience of drama and performance to as many young people as possible.  A recreation as well as academic program, KidStage Kids will learn about teamwork, concentration, creativity, improvisation, reading, movement, voice and theatre terminology.

Does the smell of gasoline and motor grease get your heart racing?  If so, race on down to the 8th Annual Doctor Larry’s Automotive Specialists Kingwood Spring Car Show, held Sunday, April 24th, 2005 from noon to 6 PM in Kingwood’s beautiful Town Center Park.  This year’s car show is sponsored by Doctor Larry’s Automotive Specialists, A-Line Auto Parts, ACDelco, Cebridge Connections, Car Toys, Budweiser (Anheuser-Busch), Tejas Toyota and Scion, Sterling McCall Honda, BMW of Houston North, Deerbrook Forest Chrysler Jeep, Kingwoodnow.com and GameForce.

The Kingwood Area Quilt Guild is hosting its 11th biennial quilt show, "Southern Comforts, Northern Lights" April 22-23 at the Humble Civic Center, 8233 Will Clayton Pkwy. Approximately 300 quilts will be on display.

Summer is almost here and we are more than ready for vacation!  Whether it is a weekend get away or a lengthy stay, being organized makes your trip much more enjoyable and relaxing!  

Join us for Hoppy Easter festivities on Saturday, March 26th, from 9:00 am to 2:00 pm in Town Center Park, Kingwood, for the Second Annual Picnic on the Park. There will be something for everyone with game booths, entertainment, refreshments and vendor fair. A free Easter egg hunt will be held from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm.
