Harris County Precinct 4’s first 2015 GeoChallenge participant to find all 57 caches is Brian Hayes, who finished in less than one week.

Congressman Ted Poe (R-TX) introduced H.R. 1566, the Local Courthouse Safety Act. This legislation would provide local law enforcement with access to training, surplus equipment and resources to improve security at courthouses.

Eliot Engel (D-NY), Ranking Member of the House Foreign Affairs Committee sent a bipartisan letter to Twitter CEO Dick Costolo urging him to increase efforts to combat foreign terrorist organizations who are using the American social media company to fundraise, spread their propaganda and recruit new jihadists.

Adults with disabilities who want to experience the college life can now do so at Lone Star College-Kingwood.  Including Stars, a new program started by Including Kids and the college, is a modified first year college experience course designed for learners with special needs.
