  • Kingwood TX:  Community wide Benefit for Brittany, to be held on Saturday, November 4th, 2006 from 1 PM to 8 PM.   We will be dancing the night away with a live band at La Quinta Inn & Suites/Kingwood on Hwy 59 North.

  • Humble TX:  The Humble/Kingwood Houston Metro Go Texan Committee is hosting “Go Texan Opry Night” to benefit the Houston Livestock Show & Rodeo (HLSR).  The event will be held on October 28th at Wilson Road Hall, 2725 Wilson Road, Humble.  Performers include Keri Settle, Sara and Chris Kruppa, Kris and Stacey Pierce, and Charla Wilkes and Raymond Foster (formerly of Texas Jam).

  • Within the past few days a core group of Kingwood/ Humble area community leaders have stepped up and brainstormed a unique fundraising community event. The Inaugural “Cookies and Tea under the Tree” will be a cookie exchange festival for families of all ages. This event will be an added activity at the Tree Lighting at Town Center on December 5th.

    The purpose of this event is to embrace the local families and business community and to offer a new and different event while raising funds for an annual revolving list of charitable organizations during the holiday season. This is the first annual event and the charity it will be benefiting is Family Time.

  • The 2nd ANNUAL HAAM PILLARS OF THE COMMUNITY  " Celebrating Hands and Hearts of Lake Houston" will be held on September 15th 6 PM at The Kingwood Country Club. This event honors Lake Houston Area Couples who have gone above and beyond in giving their time and resources to their neighbors in need.  The three couples nominated and honored this year have certainly shown exemplary and selfless efforts and help make this community a better place for all to live work and raise children. The 2012 Honorees are:

  • Congenital Myasthenic Syndrome is an inherited muscular disorder resulting from a genetic flaw at the neuromuscular junction,  occurring in 1 or 2 per million births. There will be a fundraiser to help with Kate's medical expenses on Saturday, April 8th at the Porter Walmart with Barbeque sandwich with Chips and Drink  for $5.00, Hot Dogs for $1.50, as well as brownies, cookies and cakes.

  • One of the most looked forward to events during the year is the school carnival.  Beyond being a time for fun with friends, it is a vital part in the school's PTA fundraising activities.

  • Join in a celebration of life at the Just Jake Festival on July 10th, 2015, from 6 to 10 pm at Kings Harbor in Kingwood.  Festival goers will enjoy music, food, inflatables and more.

  • Kingwood TX:  Kingwood Country Club is sponsoring a benefit luncheon and a fashion show for Kingwood Heartbeat Bears on Saturday, November 4, 2006 at 11:00am. All proceeds from this event will be used to purchase teddy bears. Fashions will be provided by Best Kept Secrets and local vocalist Lisa Streck will entertain the guests.

  • They say music makes everything better.  The directors of the Kingwood Park and Kingwood Middle School orchestras are hoping that holds true with pizza making.  Josh Taylor of Kingwood Park and Kenneth Hale of Kingwood Middle will prepare the pizzas at the booster club Spirit Night hosted by Papa Murphy's on Thursday, May 7th.

  • Shake off the winter doldrums and join the Kingwood Park High School Resolution 5k Run/Walk on Saturday January 17th.  The run is sponsored by the K-Park Booster club and supports the Athletics Department.  Registrations are due January 15th.  Register online or download the registration form.

  • Bring the beauty and diversity of Mercer Botanic Gardens to your yard by purchasing unique plants during Mercer’s annual March Mart - Mercer Plant SAle Friday, March 20 from noon to 4 p.m. and Saturday, March 21 from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.

  • Kingwood, TX:Have some fun and throw your cares to charity by celebrating the extra day in 2008 – Leap Day -- at Nico’s Place with a fun evening of laughter and karaoke to benefit the Village Learning & Achievement Center. The local restaurant and nite club, located in the heart of Black Cat Ridge on Loop 494, will donate 10% of its proceeds Friday, February 29th from 5:30 p.m. to 1 a.m. to the local charity.

  • Harris County Precinct 4’s Senior Adult Program and Fun4Seniors invite seniors 50 and better to explore the lush gardens and beautifully decorated estate of the Museum of Fine Arts’ Bayou Bend Collection and Gardens Wednesday, April 29 from 10:15 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

  • On behalf of the 177 Golf Students, their families and friends, the public is invited to participate in the Humble ISD Golf Classic, an annual fundraiser hosted by the golf teams of Atascocita, Kingwood, Kingwood Park and Summer Creek High Schools.

  • While the Christmas season is known to be the season of giving, in the rush caused by added commitments and pressures, sometimes that fact is easy to overlook.   From Thanksgiving, which was established to give thanks to God for his blessings and protection, to Christmas, a celebration of the birth of Jesus Christ and his gift to the world, there are efforts throughout the community to enter into the true spirit of the season and help those in need.

  • The Just About Kids Foundation is hosting the 4th Annual For the LOVE of Music benefit vocal competition and they want you to participate!  Tryouts are January 31, 2015 at Kingwood High School from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
