  • Kingwood, TX: –If you like it a little bit country and a little bit rock and roll, meet at Nico’s PlaceSaturday, February 16, 2008, as The Drywater Band performs live from 9 p.m. -1 a.m. Featuring a native Texan and a retired NFL Offensive Lineman, the Drywater Band will feature three performers with extensive resumes: Brian Sacco on guitar and vocals, Bruce Wiggins on guitar, vocals, Bass and Lap Steel and James Reese on guitar, vocals & Bass.

  • As spring rounds the corner, families in the Northeast Houston area are preparing for Easter.  Easter egg hunts, spring flings, and community festivals are on the schedule.  So grab your Easter basket and bonnet and get ready for some fun!

  • Kingwood Texas:   Local business owners and community volunteers are preparing for a bigger and better Picnic on the Park event this Spring with a Ladies Luncheon and Easter Bonnet Contest to be held at the Kingwood Country Club on Tuesday, April 3 plus the annual egg hunt and vendor fair Saturday, April 7 at Kingwood Town Center Park. 

  • Join the Easter festivities on Saturday, April 3rd, from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm in Town Center Park, Kingwood, for the Seventh Annual Picnic on the Park.
    Families and friends come together and enjoy a day at the park with a full day of fun featuring a street fair, food booths, petting zoo, games, and entertainment. Admission is free. Game booth tickets will be available for $1 each or $15 for a wristband for all day play.

    Tweens and teens are not forgotten with an action packed “Teen Zone” with a rock wall, adunk tank with local youth leaders a sitting ducks, basketball and baseball challenge where aspirants can test their skills. “Jello Wars” will make a return this year where teams battle for domination in a game of tug-of-war.

  • Plans are now underway for the Third Annual Picnic on the Park to be held Saturday, April 15th, from 10 am to 5 pm in Town Center Park, Kingwood.  “It is truly a collaborative effort,” explained event committee member Carla Alvarez of Legacy Marketing Services.  “All of the contributions, donations, and participation by area businesses make the event successful.” 

  • Kingwood, Texas, March 11, 2004 — If you are looking for a local free Easter egg hunt to take your children to, mark April 10th down on your calendars.  Local businesses are sponsoring the first annual “Picnic on the Park” at Town Center Park on Saturday, April 10th, from 10 am to 2 pm.

  • As Easter approaches, area residents prepare to kick off their holiday weekend festivities at Picnic on the Park . The sixth annual celebration will be on Saturday, April 11th, from 10 am to 4 pm in Town Center Park .

    “Carla, I’ve always wanted to have an Easter Egg hunt for the whole community.”  The voice on the other end of the line wasDawn Bajalieh, the Realtor with RE/MAX Associates NE who sold us our home a year and a half ago.  We felt lucky that we found Dawn after being relocated to Houston, not only did she do a great job for us during the sale of our home (and as a former Realtor myself I had pretty high standards), but she became our “go-to” person when we needed information as we were settling into Kingwood.
