  • Harris County Precinct 4’s Senior Adult Program invites the community to enjoy live musical entertainment during the 14th annual Opry in Humble Friday, Aug. 14 from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m. at the Humble Civic Center, 8233 Will Clayton Parkway.

  • Harris County Precinct 4’s Senior Adult Program (SAP) announces two new ongoing programs for adults (ages 50 and better,) at the B. F. Clark Community Building at Southwell Park, 27419 Nelson Road, Spring 77373.

    Join the body toning and chair exercise classes on Monday and Wednesdays from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. beginning July 6. This exercise class increases strength, balance, coordination, and flexibility. Participants should wear lightweight clothing, and plan to bring a towel and a water bottle. If you have concerns or have a serious medical condition, please check with your physician before attending the class.

  • Harris County Precinct 4’s Senior Adult Program (SAP) is hosting a Fat Tuesday Mardi Gras Dance Tuesday, February 16 from 1:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. at the Humble Civic Center, 8233 Will Clayton Parkway. The afternoon dance for adults, ages 50 and better, features entertainment by the River Road Boys. Light refreshments will be served, but alcohol is not permitted at county-sponsored functions.

    Tickets and reservations are required for admission; tickets are $7 per person and can be ordered by calling Precinct 4’s Senior Adult Program at (281) 893-3726, extension 47. SAP events are part of Harris County Precinct 4 Commissioner Jerry Eversole’s educational and recreational commitment to Harris County residents.

  • Harris County Precinct 4’s Senior Adult Program and SAFE (Senior Adults’ Fun Events) announce tickets and transportation for a Houston Masterworks Chorus performance Saturday, November 14. Houston Masterworks Chorus is Houston’s largest independent choral group, founded in 1986. The chorus is dedicated to presenting a choral repertoire that includes classical to contemporary favorites.

    This season’s opening performance features works commemorating composer Franz Joseph Haydn and promises to be a musical experience that lifts the spirits of the performers and audiences alike.

  • Harris County Precinct 4’s Senior Adult Program (SAP) is hosting an Afternoon Dessert Theatre featuring Radio Music Theatre Tuesday, September 22 from 1:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. at the Humble Civic Center, 8233 Will Clayton Parkway. Doors open at 1:30 p.m. and the performance begins at 2:30 p.m.

    Radio Music Theatre’s show mixes short sketches, funny music, improvisation, and bogus commercials in a non-stop comedy revue. Coffee, tea, punch, and assorted desserts will be served. Alcohol is not permitted at county-sponsored functions.

  • Harris County Precinct 4’s Senior Adult Program presents the Opry in Humble Friday, August 14 from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m. at the Humble Civic Center, 8233 Will Clayton Parkway. Sponsored in part by Texas HealthSpring, this annual fundraiser event features the Hometown Opry Band, area entertainers, and a raffle.

    Opry tickets are $10 for adults and $5 for children ages 12 and under. Tickets can be purchased at the door or by calling Precinct 4’s Senior Adult Program at (281) 893-3726, ext. 32. Alcohol is not permitted at county-sponsored functions, but light refreshments will be available for purchase.
