Walden on Lake Houston Country Club,

  • While the rain poured down outside, emotions were flowing inside the Walden on Lake Houston Country Club on the evening of March 6 as Keller Williams Realty agents and the community came together to raise money for Stacie Rhea, a victim of the terminal disease ALS also known as Lou Gehrig’s disease.

  • The AABY Foundation would like to extend a special invitation to area officers and Fire Station personnel to attend “Puttin’ on the Pupparazzi” Hollywood Hound Style Show and luncheon Friday August 1st, 10:30 am-1:30 pm at Walden on Lake Houston Country Club.

  • Humble, TX - Walden on Lake Houston Country Club recently began renovations to its golf course.  Once complete, the project will have renovated tee boxes on the course's 4 Par 3 Tee Boxes, removed 5 Bunkers and renovated 6 other Bunkers.  Its contractor, Raven Golf, has built and/or renovated courses throughout the country working with the top names of golf including Tom Fazio, Davis Love and Arnold Palmer Design.  The construction phase of the project will take approximately 3 weeks while the grow in of the grass will take another 4 weeks. 

    This project is the latest in a Capital Program under the direction of its Board of Governors that has spent over a half million dollars updating the facility.  In addition to the Course Renovations, the club is finishing a $250,000 three phase project with their Swimming Pool by replacing and expanding its pool deck.  Previous projects included the renovation of the entry way and bar which overlooks Lake Houston in 2009 and last year's renovation of the 19th Hole Bar and Grill.

  • Walden on Lake Houston Country Club celebrated the opening of The Overlook Wine Bar and Grill on Wednesday, November 4th during its monthly Member Mixer hosted by Dan and Janet Huberty and Dick and Janice Rumbley.

    The over 200 attendees enjoyed live music in the Dining Room by Randy Marshall and the Les Lobo playing the baby grand piano in the Overlook. Chef Kurt Plankenhorn provided chef attended pasta stations for diners while the Overlook featured the club’s new wine list with numerous options by the glass.
