Warren’s Southern Gardens Fall Programs

Visit Warren’s Southern Gardens, located at 1675 Northpark Drive in Kingwood, for a variety of fun-filled fall activities including do-it-yourself projects, a pumpkin patch, an evening of wine and art, and more! With the exception of the evening of wine and art, all of the fall classes and programs at Warren’s are free. To register for any of the activities, please call (281) 354-6111.

Warren’s Southern Gardens is pleased to provide the Kingwood community and surrounding area with bulk rock, landscape materials, unique flowers and plants, and the Magnolia Blossom Home & Garden Boutique. Visit Warren’s Southern Gardens Monday through Saturday from 7 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., or Sunday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.



Fall Vegetable Gardening
Saturday, September 12 at 9 a.m.
Montgomery County extension agent Tom LeRoy shares his extensive knowledge on growing vegetables in South Texas during this informative session. Learn about the types of vegetables that grow well here, the correct soil and sunlight conditions needed and when to plant..


Pumpkin Patch
Saturday, October 3 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Warren's Southern Gardens presents a pumpkin patch where visitors of all ages can choose from pumpkins perfect for carving, gourds, specialty pumpkins and scarecrows. Families can celebrate autumn by picking out a pumpkin together! Also enjoy face painting, popcorn and soft drinks, and a fall photo scene available for visitors to get great snapshots of the family.

DIY Rain Barrels
Saturday, October 17 from 10 a.m. to noon
Learn how to make a ready-to-use rain barrel from accessible and inexpensive materials that can be found at any hardware store. Master Gardener Angela Chandler will also demonstrate how several barrels can be chained together to increase the capacity for water collection.

Having trouble identifying plant or lawn problems? Bring a plant or soil sample to the garden center where Toni Dunn, one of Warren’s knowledgeable staff members with 30 years of experience, can help diagnose whether the problem is a pest or disease and offer advice on how to resolve the issue.


Warren’s Evening of Wine & Art
Saturday, November 7 from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m.
Enjoy an evening of wine tasting and light appetizers at Warren's Southern Gardens while visiting with local artists showcasing their work. Advance tickets are available at Warren's Southern Gardens for $15 each. Call (281) 354-6111 to make reservations today!

DIY Holiday Centerpieces: Think Outside the Vase
Saturday, November 14 from 10 a.m. to noon
Join Master Gardener Sherry Cruse as she teaches participants to create a fabulous fall tablescape just in time for Thanksgiving! This demonstration will cover both casual and elegant settings and centerpieces, but establishes that arranging a table display does not have to be expensive or time consuming. This holiday, learn how to think outside the vase.
