TexasOnTheGo.Com was recognized by the Small Business Development Program (SBDP) of the City of Austin for its continued support promoting their initiatives to assist small business, on Friday, October 30, 2009, at their annual appreciation luncheon.

“The City of Austin SBDP had another banner year, which saw many advances and achievements that built on the success of past years,” says Rosalinda Jalifi, assistant Director of Economic Growth and Redevelopment Services during the recognition luncheon.

Walden on Lake Houston Country Club celebrated the opening of The Overlook Wine Bar and Grill on Wednesday, November 4th during its monthly Member Mixer hosted by Dan and Janet Huberty and Dick and Janice Rumbley.

The over 200 attendees enjoyed live music in the Dining Room by Randy Marshall and the Les Lobo playing the baby grand piano in the Overlook. Chef Kurt Plankenhorn provided chef attended pasta stations for diners while the Overlook featured the club’s new wine list with numerous options by the glass.

Kingwood Pines Hospital a fully accredited psychiatric hospital providing a comprehensive continuum of behavioral and chemical dependency services, has officially kicked off a 38-bed expansion.

“We are very excited about this expansion, as it will allow us to increase our ability to provide individual treatment for adults, geriatrics, children and adolescents,” said CEO Linda Hodgkins. With dedicated staff, our mission is to remove roadblocks to recovery and instill hope to individuals and families.

The public may vote for their favorite contestant videos from November 10, 2009 through December 1, 2009 noon PST. 1-800-DENTIST® will choose five potential finalists based on several criteria, including the clinical feasibility and complexity of each case. 1-800-DENTIST® will announce the winner on December 15, 2009 noon PST. The winner's cosmetic dentistry journey will be captured on film.
