Join in the grand opening celebration of Warren’s Southern Gardens Saturday, June 13 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. located at 1675 Northpark Drive in Kingwood. Festivities include face painting, gardening classes, hourly door prizes and a moonwalk. Additionally, free hamburgers and hotdogs will be served for lunch at noon.

Debi Gomez of Life's Images Photography just announced the applications for children to model in the next Hope Calendar are open! From now until June 14th, local families with children newborn to 7 years of age can apply to model for the inspirational annual calendar for charity. ALL profits from 2010 calendar sales will be donated to It's My Heart!

In celebration of their Grand Opening, Chachi's Bar & Grill will host a Cinco de Mayo Celebration in Town Center Park on Tuesday, May 5th, 2009 from 4:00 am to 10:00 pm.  A wide variety of food will be available and a mariachi band will add to the atmosphere with music through the park beginning at 5:00 pm.

 In it's second annual event, the 2009 Hope Calendar project proudly donated $5,000 to its beneficiary, Montgomery County Women's Center last week.

Two years ago, Debi Gomez of Life’s Images Photography created a fundraiser for local family charities using her skill photographing children. With the support of local businesses, she photographed local kids aged newborn to nine years (all volunteers) and created a calendar, which was sold to benefit the charity.

Friendswood Development Company sponsored a party for Keller Williams on Friday evening Dec 19^th in conjunction with the Keller Williams King's Harbor Concert Series. Over 15 live Christmas trees were brought in and decorated, that, along with giant white bulbs gave the building a lighted livable forest atmosphere.
