4th of July Fun in Humble and Kingwood - 2012

 The Independence Day celebration is one of the most festive and anticipated seasons of the year in the Humble/Kingwood area.  The 2012 festivities start with the Alspaughs' Street Dance  on Saturday, June 30th, and culminate with a fireworks display at Town Center .

 

Take your pick of the fun to be had.  Whichever you choose, be sure to pack sunscreen, water, and stay hydrated in the hot Texas sun.

Alspaugh's Ace Hardware Street Dance

2720 West Lake Houston Pkwy, Kingwood
6:00 pm.

Bring the family, a cooler and some chairs and enjoy the music.  BBQ donations will be accepted.  The event is free to the public. 

July 4th, 2012 

4th of July Schedule

 

Kingwood Civic Club Fishing Rodeo

 

Fosters Mill Pond
6:00 am to 8:00 am

For children 15 and under.  No registration required.

Kingwood Civic Club Bike Decorating Contest

 

Kingwood Bible Church, 3610 West Lake Houston Pkwy, Kingwood
8:00 am

No registration required.

Kingwood Civic Club 4th of July Parade

 

10:00 am
Parade Route:  W Lake Houston Pkwy from Creekwood Middle School, Kingwood Drive to the Kingwood High School
Line up begins at 8:00 am at Creekwood Middle School.  Registration is required.  Registration forms are available at the Civic Club web site.

4th of July Annual Independence Day Concert

Kings Harbor
1660 West Lake Houston Parkway, Kingwood
11:00 am to 2:00 pm

Celebrate Independence Day at a free concert featuring patriotic music performed by Acoustic Villians on Saturday, July 4th at Kings Harbor Waterfront Village at the Plaza.

This outdoor concert will be held from 11 am to 2 pm at Kings Harbor located at 1660 West Lake Houston Parkway, Kingwood, TX 77345. Admission is free and lawn chairs and coolers are welcome.   

4th of July Festival at Kingwood Town Center

 

Booths at Kingwood Town Center  will be open from 2:00 pm to 9:00 pm.  There will be something for the whole family with food, moonwalks, and craft and vendor booths.

DJ Mark Linabury will entertain the crowd from 2 pm to 6 pm, and enjoy the music Acoustic Villians from 6 pm to 9 pm.  The firework display  will follow.
