Earth Day Trees and Tours at Jesse Jones Park

Saturday, April 22 is Earth Day, and Jones Park and Recreational Equipment, Inc. (REI) are commemorating the day by giving away native Texas trees at Jones Park throughout the day. Also, Jones Park staff and volunteers will guide visitors through the park’s beautiful trails on a bicycle tour at 11 a.m. or a walking nature tour at 1 p.m. All ages are welcome. Tour reservations are required beginning Wednesday, April 12 by calling (281) 446-8588.

Jesse H. Jones Park & Nature Center, a Harris County Precinct 4 facility under the leadership of Commissioner Jerry Eversole, is located at 20634 Kenswick Drive in Humble. All programs are free of charge and open to the public. Harris County Precinct 4 programs serve people of all ages regardless of socioeconomic level, race, sex, religion, national origin or physical ability.
