Harris County Precinct 4 Veterans Day Celebration Attracts Nearly 700
Commissioner Cagle visits with members of the Texas Lone Star Chapter of Korean War Veterans.

Nearly 700 guests attended Precinct 4 Commissioner R. Jack Cagle's Tribute to Veterans at the Humble Civic Center on Nov. 11. Veterans and their spouses enjoyed a catered dinner plus a patriotic concert featuring the Houston Tidelanders during the precinct's largest Veterans Day celebration to date.

"As hundreds filled the Humble Civic Center on Veterans Day, I was struck by the number of veterans who chose to make their home in Precinct 4. These men and women are what make our community great," said Commissioner R. Jack Cagle. "Their dedication and sacrifices in the face of adversity have shaped our country for the better. Let's not forget to treat them with the respect and gratitude they deserve each and every day, not just on Veterans Day."

The event was hosted by Harris County Precinct 4's Senior Adult Program. For more information about the Senior Adult Program, visit http://www.hcp4.net/senioradult/index.htm or call 281-893-3726.
