Jesse Jones Park Summer Programs

Learn about potential summer outdoor hazards such as poison ivy, venomous snakes and spiders along with other possible harmful flora and fauna Saturday, June 10 at 10 a.m. Information will include how to avoid bites and stings and treatment of the effects. All ages are welcome to attend. 

Second Saturday Settlers-Natural Dyes

Park staff and volunteers present hands-on demonstrations to bring the Redbud Hill Homestead to life Saturday, June 10 from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. Participants of all ages are invited to join this fun and educational demonstration on the age-old art of using natural methods to dye fabric and the other daily activities of early Texas settlers. Jesse H. Jones Park & Nature Center, a Harris County Precinct 4 facility under the leadership of Commissioner Jerry Eversole, is located at 20634 Kenswick Drive in Humble. All programs are free of charge and open to the public.
