Girls Invited to Learn About Golf at LPGA-USGA Girl Golf Day

LPGA-USGA Girls Golf of Houston has scheduled LPGA-USGA Girls Golf Day 2008 for Saturday, May 31 at The Clubs of Kingwood Golf Advantage School in Kingwood, Texas.

Since its inaugural year in 1999, LPGA-USGA Girls Golf Day has been an annual event devoted to making golf accessible to girls and furthering their interest in the game.

Festivities will begin at 4:00 p.m. and will include a variety of putting, chipping, and driving activities. All attendees will receive complimentary gifts to commemorate the event.

We hope to expand our reach and elevate girls   enthusiasm towards the game of golf," said Alli Jarrett, Site Director.

This event is open to girls between the ages of 7 to17 who want to learn more about golf and who would like to become members of LPGA-USGA Girls Golf of Houston.

LPGA-USGA Girls Golf provides an opportunity for girls to learn to play golf, build lasting friendships, and experience competition in a fun, supportive environment preparing them for a lifetime of enjoyment with the game.  Over 6,000 girls participate in LPGA-USGA Girls Golf at more than 180 sites nationwide.
