Precinct 4’s Pioneer Day at Jones Park

Pioneer Day at Jesse Jones Park
Children of all ages enjoyed getting their faces painted during Pioneer Day.

More than 2,000 visitors attended Precinct 4's Jesse H. Jones Park & Nature Center this past weekend for its annual Pioneer Day.  Visitors enjoyed games and crafts, colonial re-enactments and activities, and old-fashioned music and scenery.

Missed the fun or ready for more? Jones Park will be celebrating An Old-Fashioned Christmas on Saturday, December 6 from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. There will be cookie tasting, musical performances, a live nativity display, Santa's workshop and more!

With leadership from Commissioner R. Jack Cagle, Jesse H. Jones Park & Nature Center is a Harris County Precinct 4 facility located at 20634 Kenswick Drive in Humble. All programs are free of charge and open to the public.
