Temple Beth Torah celebrates Passover April 18

temple beth torah passover seder

Temple Beth Torah will celebrate the holiday of Passover with a seder, the traditional festival meal, on Monday, April 18, 2011. The community seder will be led by Rabbi Dan Gordon, of Temple Beth Torah.

Seder is a word that means "order," and there are several rituals throughout the evening to help teach the story of the Exodus from Egypt. Gordon will tell the story of Passover using the traditional book called the Haggadah, enhancing the rituals with a variety of stories and teachings. It is an evening filled with fun and learning for all ages.

The seder, which includes a five-course meal, begins at 6:15 p.m. at the Airport Marriott, 18700 JFK Blvd.  Reservations are required and a fee is involved.

Temple Beth Torah, located at 320 Shallow Drive, has been serving the Jewish community of the northeast suburbs of Houston since 1983.   For reservations or for more information, please call Temple Beth Torah at 281-446-5611 or visit the websiteat www.temple-beth-torah.org.
