Does your pet have star appeal?  Enter your pet's photo for a chance to be featured in the 2013 AABY Ambassadog Calendar . A panel of judges will choose pets to be featured for a particular month. Professional photographer Charles W. Falk will photograph the winning entries for the calendar. "

"The 2012 calendar is fabulous. We have the cutest pets posing in the most wonderful backgrounds. Charles Falk takes the most incredible photos. I can't wait to see all the great four-legged beauties we have this year," said AABY executive director Kay Pass.

The deadline for submissions is July 31. Entries can be done through AABY's website, www.aaby.org or at the AABY Thrift Shop located at 24551 Loop 494, at the corner of Northpark Drive. The entry fee is $10.  Don't have a good shot of your pet for submission? Come by The AABY Thrift Shop on Saturday, July 21 from 11am-3pm to have your pet's picture taken  for submission. There is also an opportunity for local businesses to sponsor a month for $175....it includes a photo and logo.

Proceeds from the calendar and Thrift Shop help fund AABY's Mission to raise money to build a local shelter and low cost veterinary facility.

It also helps AABY take care of pet needs in the community and their Serving Our Seniors  (SOS) Program. "I get calls all the time asking to help animals in need and am happy to do it. That's one of the reasons we are here. Our SOS program is also helping many seniors with the high cost of veterinarian care.
