Jones Park Kicks Off the Christmas Holiday

Jesse H. Jones Park & Nature Center began holiday celebrations with its annual Old-Fashioned Christmas on Dec. 6, which featured various historical Christmas-related activities and entertainment.

Attendees enjoyed cookie tasting, a look inside Santa’s workshop, Christmas caroling, a live nativity display, crafts and musical performances from several community organizations.

Did you miss Old-Fashioned Christmas? Don’t worry, there are more holiday activities just around the corner:  Critter’s Christmas this Saturday, Dec. 20 at 10 a.m. For more information about the park or any of the activities and programs offered, please call 281-446-8588.

With leadership from Commissioner R. Jack Cagle, Jesse H. Jones Park & Nature Center is a Harris County Precinct 4 facility located at 20634 Kenswick Drive in Humble. All programs are free of charge and open to the public. Harris County Precinct 4 programs serve people of all ages regardless of socioeconomic level, race, sex, religion, national origin, or physical ability.
