Kingwood, Texas: Texas-sized festivities with a Kingwood flair are planned for the Fourth of July.
The fun starts on Saturday, June 30th, with the annual Alspaugh's street dance and BBQ. The 4th of July activities start at 6 am in the morning with the Kingwood Civic Club fishing rodeo and ends in Kingwood Town Center with the fireworks display.
One annual favorite, the Boy Scouts BBQ, will not be held again this year due to construction at Kingwood High School

Alspaugh's Ace Hardware Street Dance

Bring the family, a cooler and some chairs and enjoy music by 8 Seconds. BBQ donations will benefit the Village Learning and Achievement Center.
July 4th
Kingwood Civic Club Fishing Rodeo

Kingwood Civic Club 4th of July Parade

Parade Route: W Lake Houston Pkwy from Creekwood Middle School, Kingwood Drive to the Kingwood High School
Line up begins at 8:00 am at Creekwood Middle School. Registration is required. Registration forms are available at the Lake Houston YMCA
Forest Cove 4th of July Parade
10:00 am
Line up begins at 9:00 am at the Forest Cove Community Center, 1025 Marina Drive, Kingwood. A BBQ will follow the parade at the Community Center. Tickets are $10 for adults and $4.50 for children under 10.
Kingwood Town Center 4th Festivities
Booths at Kingwood Town Center will be open from noon to 9:00 pm. There will be something for the whole family with food, moonwalks, and craft and vendor booths.
Attendees can enjoy music by Jimmie Jam in the afternoon as well as The Pictures from Austin, Texas, after the fireworks display at 9:00 pm.
