Clothing Donations
According to several of the donation centers, they are well stocked on clothing, other than men's XXX.
Suitcase Drive
Suitcases, duffel bags, totes, etc., are needed for evacuees to store their items in. Please drop items off at Alspaugh's Ace Hardware, 2720 W. Lake Houston Pkwy, Kingwood TX.
Donate Housing
If you would like to offer short-term housing for evacuees, visit the Houston Area Realtor's site to register.

Toy Drive
Kapok Tree Toys is collecting new and gently used toys, games and books for distribution to the evacuees.
Humble ISD Schools
Extensive relief efforts are being made in the Humble ISD schools. Relocated children will start attending local schools and are in need of school supplies. Visit the Humble ISD web sitefor supply lists. School supplies should be dropped off at the Community Learning Center's Discipline Program, 18901 Timber Forest Dr, Humble. 281.641.8404. If possible, please package the supplies by grade and clearly mark them. Cash donations are also being accepted.
Drive-By Donation Drop-off: The Humble and Kingwood High Schools are holding a donation drive this Saturday, September 3rd. The KHS drive will be held from 9 am to 11 am in the high school parking lot. The HHS drive will be held from 10 am to 12 pm in the parking lot.
Oak Forest: Oak Forest is holding a coin drive to raise money for victims of Katrina
Quest High: Quest High School is collecting toiletries and towels for the local shelters.
Humble 9th Grade Campus: Humble 9th Grade Campus is collecting toothbrushes, toothpaste, soap, canned food and clothing.
Willow Creek Elementary: Willow Creek is holding a fundraising drive.
Foster Elementary: Foster Elementary is collecting donations of cash or by check. Checks should be made payable to the Red Cross.
Oaks: The Oaks is holding a coin drive.
Maplebrook: Maplebrook Elementary is collecting new or gently used books, toys, food, clothing, bedding and toiletries.
Woodland Hills Elementary: Woodland Hills is holding a coin drive.
Lake Houston YMCA
Lake Houston YMCA will be a drop-off for cash cards of all kinds for Katrina Hurrican Victims.
St. Martha's Catholic Church
St. Martha's will be a drop-off location for all items (clothes, toiletries, and food items). Dates the drop-off will be open are Friday, September 2nd from 9 am to 2 pm; Tuesday, September 6th through Friday, September 9th, 9 am to 2 pm; Saturday, September 10th, 8 am to 12 pm; Monday, September 12th through Friday September 16th. Houston Fire Departments
Houston Fire Departments will be a drop-off site for school supplies to aid the children coming to Houston from Louisiana.
Kingwood United Methodist - Red Cross Shelter
