KINGWOOD, TEXAS – In celebration of World Card Making Day, Independent Stampin' Up! demonstrators throughout the United States, Canada, Australia, and New Zealand will hold various stamping and card making events October 4-8 to kick off the holiday card-making season. Especially popular with card makers, World Card Making Day celebrates the creativity of handmade cards and the personal connection that they create when given to others.
The official World Card Making Day, founded by Paper Crafts magazine, is held the first Saturday of October each year and allows a forum for card making enthusiasts of all skill levels and styles to come together and share their creative passion for the art of card making.

“World Card Making Day allows me to share my love of card making with the community and my friends,” said Cynthia Cantrell Independent Stampin’ Up! demonstrator. “One of the greatest joys in my life is to see someone discover their creativity and then share it with those they love. In addition, my event will help the Ronald McDonald House Charities in Houston, TX by donating hand made cards to the House. Everyone can learn to make a hand-stamped card……I promise you, if I can do this, anyone can!”.
