HOUSTON – Healthcare practitioners and students are invited to join the Lone Star College-Kingwood Respiratory Care Department for a one-day continuing education seminar on campus, Tuesday, Oct. 20, from 7:30 a.m. to – 4 p.m. in the Student and Fine Arts Center, room 125. Topics of discussion include: Mechanical Ventilation for the Morbidly Obese, Congenital Cardiac Anomalies and Ventilation, Isoflurane with Status Asthmatics, Swine Flu, Ventilator-Associated Pneumonia (VAP), and Pulmonary Hypertension.
