Lunch Bunch at Mercer Botanic Gardens

Lunch Bunch at Mercer Botanic Gardens
The Mercer Society members, Jane Campbell and Julie Jackson, enjoy their time at Mercer’s monthly Lunch Bunch.

Mercer Botanic Gardens hosts an informative and fun presentation each month known as Lunch Bunch! In honor of the Christmas season, December participants enjoyed a craft session, creating handmade Angel ornaments from various dried material, such as a Philippine lily see pod, bread poppy seed pod, butterfly vine winged seed pod and Spanish moss.

If you missed the recent festivities, don’t miss the January gathering covering the “Triangle Area,” the internationally renowned plant paradise in North Carolina, on Wednesday, Jan. 14 from noon to 2 p.m. To learn more about Lunch Bunch and future presentations, please call Mercer at 281-443-8731 or go online to www.hcp4.net/Community/Parks/Mercer for details.

With leadership from Commissioner R. Jack Cagle, Mercer Botanic Gardens is a Harris County Precinct 4 park facility located one mile north of FM 1960 at 22306 Aldine Westfield Road in Humble, 77338.
